Rare lucite paperweight produced in 1992 featuring paint chips from the original Boston Gas tank.
In 1971, Boston Gas Company commissioned Corita to create a design for one of its tanks. Corita's Rainbow Swash is considered a one of the major landmarks in Boston, and at 140 ft tall, it is the largest copyrighted artwork in the world
In the fall of 1992, the tank was removed from the site, but chips of paint from the rainbow were saved. Corita's design was reproduced on a new tank where it still stands today.
